Community Rehabilitation Programs

The United Way of Connecticut, Inc. (United Way) is requesting submissions from qualified community rehabilitation programs to provide training for individuals with disabilities for potential employment at the new Walgreens distribution center in Windsor, Connecticut. One bidder, which may either be a single organization or a consortium of qualified community rehabilitation programs, will be chosen to provide services under this Request for Proposals.

 

The resultant contract period for the first year of this program is projected to begin on June 1, 2008 and end on May 31, 2009, with the anticipation that a contract will be awarded to the winning bidder for a second year. The total available funding through this procurement is not anticipated to exceed $1,250,000 for the two-year period.
