The Connecticut Council for Philanthropy is a nonprofit association of grantmakers
committed to promoting and supporting effective philanthropy for the public good in Connecticut.

To be a reliable source of education and information about grantmaking to Connecticut's
grantmakers, nonprofit organizations, and the general public.
To provide the means for regular exchange of ideas, experiences, information and
expertise among Connecticut grantmakers.
To be a leader and catalyst for philanthropic action in response to community issues.
To increase public understanding of the value of and need for philanthropy.
To increase and diversify philanthropy.
