Become a Member - for Grantmakers
We would be happy to have you join the Council as a member!
You are eligible to become a member in the Council if you represent an organization or are an individual* whose principal function is the making of grants for charitable purposes. Grantmakers we serve include:
- Community foundations
- Corporate foundations and giving programs
- Private independent foundations and family foundations
- Federated funds
- Public Foundations
- Bank trust departments or trust companies that administer charitable funds, trusts or foundations making grants for charitable purposes
- Donor-advised funds with multiple beneficiaries at commercial institutions or community foundations, and
- Individual donors with multiple charitable beneficiary organizations*
*Eligible individuals must make $25,000 or more in charitable donations a year to multiple charitable beneficiary organizations.
Membership support starts at $300 and is based on the three-year average of grants made in Connecticut.
