We hope you will be able to join us for this week’s CCP member COVID-19 response check-in call on Friday, April 3, at 12:00 PM. On last week’s call, members shared a strong interest in hearing from government leaders engaged in the state’s response.

We are very fortunate that this week we will be joined by Lisa Tepper Bates, from the Office of the Governor, who is chairing the Recovery/Immediate Needs Subgroup of Commissioner David Lehman's Long Term Recovery Committee.

She will provide an overview of the state’s emergency response structure, as well as details about the Recovery/Immediate Needs Subgroup. The mission of the Subgroup is to bring together key players from state government, nonprofits, regional emergency management and long-term recovery coordinators, and philanthropy to identify communities’ unmet needs, quickly assess what can be met by state or federal resources, and identify where philanthropic resources will most be needed. She will also be available to answer questions from members.

We would also like to provide some time for member updates. If you would like to share an update about your COVID-19 response, please email Karla Fortunato by Friday morning. We will include as many as we can on this week’s call, and can include any we don’t have time for on the next check-in call.
