For representatives of private independent and family foundations, corporate foundations and giving programs, community foundations and other public foundations and United Ways

Presented by the Eastern Connecticut Funder Network

This group provides a forum for grantmakers who are located in or funding in Eastern Connecticut to come together, exchange information about news and topics of interest in the region. Members share knowledge and best practices, hear from guest presenters, and learn about new and ongoing activities, initiatives and areas of philanthropic engagement.

Join CCP President Karla Fortunato as she shares the newly published Giving in Connecticut report and discusses how federal tax law and state budget cuts are putting many grantees at risk. How can foundations better support the needs of their grantees at this moment in time?

Participants will also engage in a roundtable discussion about what their foundations are doing beyond program funding, what challenges they’re facing, and how these initiatives can be of help to their grantees.
