For staff and trustees of grantmaking organizations
Foundation Center and the Center for Disaster Philanthropy recently launched new online tools and research to help foundations, government agencies, and other donors understand the global landscape of disaster-related philanthropy.
Learn more about these new resources as presenters highlight the findings from the second edition of Measuring the State of Disaster Philanthropy and demonstrate the new online dashboard and interactive funding map.
This is the second annual edition of the report and includes many new sources of data that were not in last year’s issue, including hundreds of smaller foundations, FEMA, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA), corporate support, and some individual giving.

Measuring the State of Disaster Philanthropy >>
The Center for Disaster Philanthropy is proud to partner with Foundation Center, the leading source of information about philanthropy worldwide, to present this interactive dashboard, which provides an analysis of disaster-related funding by foundations, governments, corporations, and individuals. The data illuminates funding trends, expose some of the imbalances in where and when contributions are made, and can help donors make more strategic decisions about their investments in the full life cycle of disasters, including preparedness and recovery efforts.
