Greater Hartford Funders Network is a forum for grantmakers located in or funding in the Greater Hartford region to come together, exchange information about news and topics of interest in the region.

Since becoming Superintendent of Hartford Public Schools in July, Dr. Beth Schiavino-Narvaez has visited every one of Hartford’s 50 schools at least once, built relationships with community and civic leaders, produced a Transition Report focusing on the equity needs of Hartford students, reorganized the district’s central office to drive those priorities, and is moving the district in the direction of achieving goals of equity and excellence for all students. During her discussion with the Greater Hartford Funders Network, she will share what’s next in the Story of Self, Us, and Now for Hartford Public Schools.  Please join us as we discuss how we craft the story of equity and excellence in Hartford, together.
