Fairfield County's Community Wellbeing Index 2016

NORWALK, CT -- Examining regional demographics, economic opportunity, education, health, quality of life, and happiness, Fairfield County Community Wellbeing Index 2016 was released by DataHaven, Fairfield County’s Community Foundation and a team of leaders from regional hospitals, foundations, government agencies, and community organizations.  

Metro Hartford Progress Points 2016

The third edition of Metro Hartford Progress Points, driven by the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, is the result of collaboration between nine stakeholders representing local government, businesses, nonprofits, academic and philanthropic institutions and organizations committed to making long-term progress in our region. The report includes a timeline of past efforts aimed at addressing the region’s long-standing challenges, not to be disheartening, but instead to highlight where positive changes have been made and how our region remains committed to learning from our collective past while working to create opportunities for all Greater Hartford residents.

The report highlights the challenges and opportunities facing the region.

Community Foundation Once Again Offers Non-Profit Workshop Series

NEW BRITAIN, CT -- Following a highly successful first year, the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain (CFGNB) will offer a second series of in-depth capacity building workshops in 2019 designed to help local non-profit organizations strengthen their boards and achieve greater impact. Application Deadline is January 31.
