HARTFORD, CT -- The Bank of America Charitable Foundation has provided $108,000 in grants to local nonprofits connecting Hartford area residents to affordable housing, financial education and other critical community development needs.

WATERBURY, CT -- In 2013, Connecticut Community Foundation sponsored the first ever cohort of the Leadership Development Roundtable from greater Waterbury to help encourage the development of local nonprofit leaders, and the first eight members just completed the course!
NEW HAVEN, CT -- Maria Hinojosa spoke Thursday evening on the topic of “Being Latino in the U.S.” to a crowd of close to 300. The event was a product of the Progreso Latino Fund’s (PLF) annual community forum and the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven’s (CFGNH) Convening series, intended to “identify and examine ideas that will build a stronger community in the Greater New Haven region.”
