MEDIA ALERT: Free Hartford Symphony Orchestra Ensemble Concerts For Asylum Hill Community

HARTFORD, CT -- The Hartford will host two free outdoor concerts this spring. Employees, Asylum Hill neighbors, local students and the general public are invited to bring their lunches and enjoy the fresh air and music of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra Ensemble -- Monday, May 19 and Wednesday, June 4; 12 to 1 p.m.; The Hartford’s HartBeat Park, 140 Garden Street, Hartford, CT.

First Waterbury Cohort of Leadership Development Roundtable Graduate

NPR/PBS’s Hinojosa Envisions New Haven’s Mañana

NEW HAVEN, CT -- Maria Hinojosa spoke Thursday evening on the topic of “Being Latino in the U.S.” to a crowd of close to 300. The event was a product of the Progreso Latino Fund’s (PLF) annual community forum and the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven’s (CFGNH) Convening series, intended to “identify and examine ideas that will build a stronger community in the Greater New Haven region.”
