Four Community Leaders Join Connecticut Community Foundation Board of Trustees

Waterbury, CT - Connecticut Community Foundation’s members have elected four community leaders with a history of service in Greater Waterbury and the Litchfield Hills to join their Board of Trustees. Avery Gaddis, Tomas Olivo, Jean Solomon and Saran D. White will join a board composed of local residents from across 21 towns in the Foundation’s service area.

Trio of Community Foundations in Connecticut Hires Cesar Aleman as New Director

(Norwalk, CT) — For the past several years, the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven and Fairfield County’s Community Foundation have been working together on collective strategies to help dismantle structural and systemic racism and achieve equity in social and economic mobility in their communities. In support of these efforts, the trio of Connecticut community foundations have hired Cesar Aleman to serve as Director of the CUOC.

Hartford Foundation Announces Redesigned Grantmaking Team

HARTFORD, CT -- The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving's new Community Impact team will be led by vice president Elysa Gordon, who is now responsible for the overall executive direction of Community Impact and the newly created Impact Leadership Team comprised of her and four Directors: Megan Burke, Director of Community Impact Grantmaking; Judy McBride, Director of Strategic Partnership Investments; Kate Szczerbacki, Director of Strategic Learning and Evaluation; and Melanie Tavares, Director of Capacity Building and Nonprofit Support.
