Charitable Giving in CT Not Keeping Pace with U.S., Report Finds

HARTFORD, CT -- Connecticut By The Numbers Reports on CCP's Giving in Connecticut: The latest report from the Connecticut Council of Philanthropy (CCP), which highlights philanthropic giving in Connecticut shows that as giving across the U.S. has increased, the opposite is true of Connecticut, even as individual giving – which makes up the lion’s share of giving – has increased.

CCP Offers Free Workshop, Being Grounded in Philanthropy
HARTFORD, CT -- The Connecticut Council for Philanthropy is offering a free workshop on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm at the CohnReznick Training Center in Hartford. The workshop, Being Grounded in Philanthropy, is designed for Connecticut elected officials and government officials, their staff, colleagues and other partners as an introduction to the field of philanthropy.

Connecticut Council for Philanthropy Announces an Interim President
Hartford, CT - The Connecticut Council for Philanthropy (CCP) announces the appointment of David Davison as interim president beginning July 1, following the recent departure of Maggie Osborn. Davison, who recently retired as president & CEO of the American Savings Foundation, will stay until a new president is named.
