CHEFA Announces FY 2018 Client Grant Awards

HARTFORD, CT -- CHEFA, the Connecticut Health and Educational Facilities Authority, is pleased to announce the FY 2018 Client Grant Program awardees.

In total a group of sixteen CHEFA clients were awarded $949,375 at the Board of Directors meeting on January 23, 2018.  The awards were made for both capital and program grants to clients representing CHEFA’s four priority funding sectors of education, healthcare, childcare, and cultural. CHEFA awards grants statewide, and the current group of grant recipients represent six counties throughout the state.

“We are excited to support this very worthwhile group of grant recipients. Their important projects will make a difference in the lives of Connecticut individuals and families” remarked Betty Sugerman Weintraub, CHEFA Grant Program Manager.
