HARTFORD, CT -- The Catalyst Endowment Fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving is pleased to announce a competitive grant opportunity offering a total of up to $58,000 for one year to one or more eligible nonprofits proposing projects to improve outcomes on juvenile justice.
The Catalyst Endowment Fund is a giving circle of generous, civic-minded donors from the Greater Hartford area. This is an open call for applications from nonprofits serving Greater Hartford.
Criteria for consideration:
- Organizations should have experience working with and an ability to connect with juveniles at high risk of entering or who have been impacted by the juvenile justice system.
- To address the particular goal of the Catalyst Endowment Fund, your proposal should show how your project will be catalytic within the community you serve.
- Organizations are strongly encouraged to collaborate with other entities to achieve more effective outcomes and/or to leverage additional dollars.
