TORRINGTON, CT -- The Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation has allocated a minimum of $55,000 to distribute to public charities and faith-based organizations in its 20-town service area* for year-end critical-needs grants. RIDGEFIELD, CT -- Over the last seven months, Terry McManus has spent dozens of hours at Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center digitizing glass plate negatives that photographer Joseph Hartmann created of Ridgefield residents and the town during the early 20th century.
