Publication date:
June, 2016

CCP is offering several pilot services for member community foundations through CCP's regional association (RA) membership with the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers (Forum).

Community Foundation Boot Camp

In 2016 the Forum is presenting a two-day Community Foundation Boot Camp program in two locations, Charlotte, NC on August 22-23 (which is sold out) and Denver, CO on August 17-18.  The boot camp provides a comprehensive overview of the structure and operations of a community foundation.  The program is an ideal in-depth introduction to community foundations for new community foundation staff, community foundation board members, or more experienced community foundation staff looking for a good refresher.  Learn more and register for the Boot Camp in Denver >>

Community Foundation Legal Help Desk

The Community Foundation Legal Help Desk is an online service where subscribers can submit their legal questions to an attorney with specialized knowledge and experience in laws that specifically affect the operations of a community foundation. The attorney will respond in writing or arrange for a phone conversation. The service is being offered by the Forum in partnership with Indiana Philanthropy Alliance. Learn more at
