HARTFORD, CT -- The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving's new report, Greater Hartford Arts Landscape Study, paints a picture of the arts in Greater Hartford, a scene that’s both colorful and rocky. Jackie Coleman, Senior Education Investments Officer at Hartford Foundation, joins WNPR's Lydia Brown and Lucy Nalpathanchil, and others to consider efforts to better support the region’s artists. HARTFORD, CT -- About 13,000 residents of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands who arrived in Connecticut in the aftermath of the hurricanes Maria and Irma continue to struggle with obtaining basic needs including adequate housing, food, medical care and jobs, according to a survey commissioned by the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving.
