Bank of America Announces Hurricane Irma Relief Efforts
CHARLOTTE, NC -- Bank of America today announced that it is directing $1 million in funding from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation to aid the victims of Hurricane Irma, including $250,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, with the remainder to be allocated when an assessment is completed regarding specific recovery needs.
Aetna Offers Assistance to Members Affected by Hurricane Harvey in Texas and Louisiana
HARTFORD, CT -- Aetna (NYSE:AET) is offering resources to members who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey. Recognizing the magnitude of this disaster and its potentially devastating impact, the Aetna Foundation announced it will be making a $100,000 contribution to the American Red Cross, a $100,000 contribution to the Community Foundation of Greater Houston as well as a $50,000 contribution to Team Rubicon, to support current and forthcoming disaster relief efforts.
Cigna and Cigna Foundation Take Steps to Help People Affected by Hurricane Harvey
HOUSTON, CT -- Cigna (NYSE: CI) and the Cigna Foundation are taking a number of steps to help people in South and Central Texas who are affected by Hurricane Harvey. To aid in the recovery efforts, the Cigna Foundation is making a $100,000 donation to the American Red Cross and the company is also activating an internal website that will enable Cigna employees to request matching funds for their donations to the Red Cross.
