The Connecticut Council for Philanthropy is excited to announce the launch of a statewide network for philanthropy professionals of color.
Every year, the Connecticut Council for Philanthropy, the statewide network of foundations and grantmakers, produces programs, publications, and networking events, including an annual conference. We invite funders and professional organizations the opportunity to support our work and raise their visibility within the philanthropic sector through sponsorships.
CCP is moving Connecticut philanthropy from commitment to learning to action on racial equity. Upcoming programs provide opportunities for funders to ground themselves in the basics, begin to apply learning to their grantmaking, and engage with peers in a community of practice to ramp up their work with a racial equity or racial justice lens.
SOW-CT is a philanthropic effort to develop a shared strategy and pool resources across grantmakers in order to strengthen the organizing capacity of grassroots groups across Connecticut.
CCP provides background information and curated funder resources for the 2020 Census.
The Connecticut Council for Philanthropy is the leading voice to policy makers on behalf of Connecticut’s grantmakers.
The Connecticut Grantmaking Map dashboard provides an at-a-glance overview of institutional philanthropy for the State of Connecticut. This effort is part of the campaign to “Get on the Map,” which is a national partnership between Foundation Center, United Philanthropy Forum, and the Connecticut Council for Philanthropy to improve the quality and availability of public data about Connecticut philanthropy. The map is for CCP members only, and is password protected.
