SOUTHINGTON, CT -- The Community Foundation of Greater New Britain in 2017 awarded three grants to Southington organizations totaling $42,500 in aid. From 2012 to 2017, CFGNB has provided Southington, either to organizations directly in town or to organizations outside of town with a local impact, with more than $2 million in financial aid. Hospital for Special Care Receives $150K Grant to Help Expand Autism Services
NEW BRITAIN, CT -- The American Savings Foundation has awarded a $150,000 grant to support expansion of the Autism Center at Hospital for Special Care in New Britain, including development of a partial hospitalization program and an education and day center. Maria Falvo, president and CEO of American Savings Foundation, said the new program will help reduce waiting lists for inpatient care by creating a resource for youth who need more intense services than are currently available at an outpatient level.
