HFPG Impact! Greater Hartford will create new investment opportunities beyond traditional grantmaking
HARTFORD, CT -- The Connecticut Data Collaborative will intensify efforts to improve the data literacy skills of nonprofit organizations through an array of workshops, courses, training, focus groups and evaluations in a multi-pronged, three-year plan that has earned the financial support of the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving.
HARTFORD, CT -- As Connecticut continues to respond to budget challenges and declining school enrollment, some school districts have been considering regionalizing their K-12 education services as a way to reduce costs. In an effort to get a clearer understanding of the potential educational and community impacts of school and district regionalization, the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving has sponsored a comprehensive analysis of the impacts of K-12 regionalization to help inform those efforts. The literature review focuses on what is known about the effects of K-12 regionalization on education expenditures and educational achievement, based on recent empirical studies.
HARTFORD, CT -- The Hartford Foundation for Public Giving has awarded Upper Albany Main Street a three-year $287,000 grant that will allow the organization to bring on additional staff to oversee the administrative aspects of the the Route 44 Safety Improvement Project.
