CCP Racial Equity and Justice Programs

Join CCP for a special cohort program designed to support CEOs, senior executives, and trustees in learning and sustained action toward racial equity in philanthropy. This program will deepen participants' collective understanding of racial equity, explore how it impacts the work of philanthropy, and identify ways philanthropy can support racial equity and racial justice.

Guided by expert facilitators, participants will explore key elements of racial equity in a group of peers in similar leadership roles. We’ll explore topics including structural racism, implicit bias, and types of privilege, and discuss the roles philanthropy can play to better support equity. Through curated resources and facilitated conversation, we’ll explore concepts and apply our learning to the work we’re doing at our organizations and with each other. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore solutions to real-world challenges we are facing or may face as we work to incorporate racial equity into our work.

The sessions in this series will build on each other both in content and in forming a community of practice among philanthropic leaders. We ask that participants commit to attending each of the 6 sessions. The series is open to all CCP members in director, senior executive, and trustee roles. Space is limited, and preference will be given to those who can attend the full series.

Questions: Please email Annie Adams.

Fee: $300 for the 6-session series.

Registration: Please fill out this short questionnaire by Friday, May 21.

If the cost of registration presents a barrier to your participation, please let us know.
