CCP is moving to a biweekly check-in call schedule after hosting weekly check-in calls since early April.

CCP Member Call with State Commissioners on Housing and Mental Health.

This week’s CCP member COVID-19 response check-in call on Friday, June 26, at 12:00 PM will feature updates and discussion with two Connecticut Commissioners overseeing key areas of the pandemic response.

Commissioner Seila Mosquera-Bruno of the Department of Housing will speak about the state’s efforts to address housing security issues related to COVID-19. The state’s moratorium on evictions is set to expire on July 1, unless the Governor announces an extension. The state is planning to provide $15 million in rental assistance and eviction prevention.

Commissioner Miriam Delphin-Rittmon, PhD., of the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services will provide an update on the state’s plans to address mental health needs arising from the pandemic and speak to potential roles for philanthropy.

We hope you will join us for this important discussion.
