| Race Forward is excited to host Facing Race: A National Conference from November 20-22, 2024 in St. Louis, Missouri. This year’s conference theme “Our Power, Our Solutions” will nurture deeper connections, dialogues, and collaborations among racial justice advocates. The 2024 event will be held at the doorstep of neighboring Ferguson, Missouri, which is often considered the birthplace of the Movement for Black Lives. This location is fitting for the largest multiracial, inter-generational gathering for organizers, educators, creatives and leaders. For over 15 years, Race Forward has presented this incredible conference experience to thousands of attendees, aimed to convene, organize, and mobilize for a more equitable future. Facing Race is set to spotlight our community's collective and transformative power.
This one-of-a-kind, immersive, and collaborative experience will launch days after the 2024 United States Presidential Election, a pivotal benchmark toward the true multicultural democracy we envision and work toward. Join us to honor and continue the deep work of Black activists and organizers to build a racially just future for all! Facing Race Opportunity: Production Company (Proposals Due 9/25) We're looking for a production company for the conference! The work will commence October 2023 and continue through December 2024. The deadline for receipt of proposals is Monday, September 25, 2023 at 5:00 pm ET. All proposals should be submitted electronically to facingrace@raceforward.org with the subject line “Facing Race 2024 Production and Event Company”.
