WEST HARTFORD, CT -- The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) today announced that ArtsMentors, a community engagement program for underserved youth, has received $10,000 in funding support from both the National Endowment for the Arts Challenge America Program and the Richard P. NEW BRITAIN, CT -- In its second round of funding of the year, the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain has awarded more than $280,000 in grants to a wide variety of community programs serving Berlin, New Britain, Plainville and Southington.
HARTFORD, CT -- Connecticut Office of the Arts (COA) and the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving have sponsored a study of the arts landscape in Greater Hartford including a workforce survey of local organizations in the field. The results of this study will help the COA and the Hartford Foundation to better understand the arts ecology in a more holistic way as well as inform future arts funding strategies.

WATERBURY, CT -- In its May grant round, Connecticut Community Foundation awarded a total of $18,800 in sponsorship grants to 23 nonprofit organizations hosting community events in Greater Waterbury and the Litchfield Hills in the coming months.
