BLOOMFIELD, CT -- The Cigna Foundation is inviting nonprofit organizations working to reduce child food insecurity to apply for funding through its Healthier Kids For Our Future grant program. The program will provide grants to community organizations totaling up to $5 million over the next year.

NORWALK, CT - Stepping Stones Museum, Children’s Learning Centers of Connecticut (CLC), Filling in the Blanks, and Wholesome Wave are proud to announce their new collaboration titled Fueling Families. This five-week pilot program provides food, nutrition education and literacy support services for preschoolers in need in Stamford and Norwalk. Fippinger Foundation, Rita and Leo Greenland Foundation, George A. and Grace L. GROTON and NEW LONDON, CT -- Recent grants awarded to the Eastern Connecticut Community Gardens Association will support ongoing projects in Groton and New London. A grant from the Newman’s Own Foundation, given as part of the foundation’s food access and education mission, will support Grasso Technical High School’s farm-to-table programming.
New grants bring total fleet of HPHC-funded mobile markets to eight in New England, helping to increase access to healthy food for low-income families
WELLESLEY, MA -- Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation today announced that it awarded more than $1.25 million in grants to 885 nonprofit organizations in more than 350 communities in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire in 2018. Since its inception in 1980, the Foundation has granted more than $150 million in funds throughout the four states.
