HARTFORD, CT -- The newest recipients of a $1.6 million annual college scholarship program were honored by the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving this week at the Greater Hartford Arts Academy’s Theater for the Performing Arts. These students received new scholarships to attend two-year and four-year schools across the nation.
NORWALK, CT -- Fairfield County’s Community Foundation (FCCF), the largest provider of college scholarships in the region, has extended the deadline for 2019 scholarships to Sunday, March 31st.
NORWALK, CT -- Scholarships through FCCF are available for high school seniors and current undergraduate and graduate students residing in Bridgeport; Easton; Fairfield; Monroe; Milford; Shelton; Stratford; Trumbull and Westport.The application deadline is March 21, 2019.
BRISTOL, CT -- Main Street Community Foundation is currently accepting grant applications from area nonprofit organizations through its competitive General Grant Cycle and the Plainville Community Fund while scholarship applications are being accepted from local students. All guidelines, eligibility criteria and links to the online applications are available on the Foundation’s website, www.mainstreetfoundation.org. Deadlines are March 16 and March 30, 2018.
WATERBURY, CT -- Applications are now open for students residing in Greater Waterbury and the Litchfield Hills to apply for college scholarships from Connecticut Community Foundation for the 2018-19 academic year. First-time applications to the Foundation are due by March 15. Applications for renewals of previously-awarded scholarships are due by February 15.
