HARTFORD, CT -- Hartford’s fiscal turmoil is putting on hold $50 million in aid from three major insurers. The largesse, promised in early March by chief executive officers Mark T. Bertolini of Aetna Inc., Christopher J. Swift of The Hartford and Alan D. Schnitzer of Travelers Cos. Inc., was conditioned on “being part of a comprehensive and sustainable solution” for Hartford, the executives said.
NEW MILFORD, CT -- The Community Culinary School of Northwestern Connecticut, in New Milford, received a $3,500 grant from the People’s United Community Foundation.
