WEST HARTFORD — The Lillian Fund, a giving circle at the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Hartford consisting of women helping women and children in need, granted $8,000 to Charter Oak Cultural Center’s Youth Arts Institute.
WINSTED, CT -- The American Mural Project recently received grants from the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain, the Maximilian E. and Marion O. Hoffman Foundation, and the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development/Office of the Arts, for education and renovations at the project in Winsted.
NAUGATUCK, CT -- Liberty Bank Foundation, Ion Bank Foundation, People’s United Bank and Connecticut Community Foundation awarded the YMCA grants totaling $45,000 to repair its roof. These funds are part of a match to the state Department of Economic and Community Development's $50,000 historic preservation grant.
