FARMINGTON, CT -- Farmington Bank joined forces with 102.9 The Whale and Whole Foods Market to host a two-week Thanksgiving food drive benefitting those served by Hands On Hartford’s MANNA Community Food Pantry.

Employees and the public were invited to participate by dropping off non-perishable food items at all Farmington Bank Connecticut branches, and on November 16 Whole Foods invited all to drop off turkeys, food items and monetary donations at their stores in West Hartford and Glastonbury. In total, more than 2,600 pounds of food and nearly $1,000 was contributed during the two-week drive, then donated to Hands On Hartford in time for Thanksgiving Day.
