Lindsay Named The Zoom Foundation Deputy Director

FAIRFIELD, CT -- Nicole Lindsay has been named the Deputy Director of The ZOOM Foundation effective March 2016. Since 2013, Nicole has directed leadership development programs for the Foundation.   In this newly created role, Nicole will work closely with Executive Director Meghan Lowney to ensure the Foundation achieves its mission through effective grant making and efficient operations.

“Nicole has brought thoughtful leadership and commitment to continuous improvement to our team and this has resulted in stronger leadership programs. I am delighted that she will now help advance the Foundation’s overall strategic grant making efforts,” said Meghan Lowney, Executive Director.

Nicole began her professional career in financial services. After three years at Wachovia Bank, Nicole joined the administration of the Yale School of Management in MBA Admissions and Student Affairs, overseeing minority and women admissions and diversity student affairs. She later joined Goldman Sachs, where she managed MBA recruiting initiatives for the firm at several top business schools. In 2006, she joined Management Leadership for Tomorrow, where she served in various roles including Vice President of Talent Development. In the fall of 2009, she joined New York Needs You as the founding Executive Director and grew the organization to an eight-person staff and an operating budget of $1.2MM.   

Nicole is the author of The MBA Slingshot for Women: Using Business School to Catapult Your Career (Praeger), awarded Honorable Mention by the 2014 San Francisco Book Festival. She earned her BS from the University of Connecticut and JD/ MBA from the University of Virginia.

Nicole currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and is a member of the Fairfield County Chapter of The Links, Incorporated. She is licensed to practice law in Connecticut and Georgia.
