TORRINGTON, CT -- Chuck Loring CFRE, MBA, considered one of the nation’s top authorities on board governance and board fundraising will hold a workshop, “High Performing Fundraising Boards,” Thursday May 17, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Wisdom House, 229 East Litchfield Road, Litchfield. This fast-paced workshop will cover several topics critical to achieving exceptional board leadership. Sustainable fundraising is the goal for every nonprofit organization and it is possible with an engaged and educated board of directors. The event is co-hosted by the Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation and the Connecticut Community Foundation.
Mr. Loring is a Senior Governance Associate for BoardSource and senior partner of Loring, Sternberg & Associates, which provides governance consulting services to nonprofits. Chuck has helped nonprofits across the country strengthen their boards and improve governance practices, and advanced the missions of world renowned organizations such as Special Olympics, Second Harvest Food and The Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Workshop topics include:
