TORRINGTON, CT -- Jeanne Fusco, executive director of the Susan B. Anthony Project, has announced a $10,000 grant award from the Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation Covid-19 Rapid Response Fund. NEW BRITAIN, CT -- As the COVID- 19 crisis continues to unfold, the Human Resources Agency of New Britain is able to continue helping families with the help of a grant from The American Savings Foundation. The ASF board of directors approved a grant of $56,500 to HRA for its emergency energy assistance program.
Kids In Crisis Receives New Funding
NEW CANAAN, CT -- SafeHaven for Kids, a core program of Kids In Crisis announces receipt of a $15,000 grant from the New Canaan Community Foundation. SafeHaven for Kids provides 24-hour Crisis Helpline counseling and referrals, In-Person Crisis Intervention, and a comprehensive Emergency Shelter Program for Connecticut newborn to 18-year-old kids of any race, ethnicity, religion, community of origin, socio-economic status, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
