The Public & Brooklyn College Team to Foster Emerging Artists and Administrators

NEW YORK, NY -- The Public Theater and Brooklyn College announced today a new partnership, strengthening both institutions' deep commitment to fostering the professional development of talented emerging artists and arts administrators.  The partnership, made possible with support from The Tow Foundation, will invest in nurturing generations of arts leaders whose presence will help diversify the field.

Home-visiting Program for First-time Families Expands in CT

NEW HAVEN, CT -- Yale University’s Minding the Baby® (MTB) National Office was awarded an 18-month grant from the Grossman Family Foundation beginning in January 2017 to expand the MTB home visiting intervention in Connecticut. The MTB National Office is partnering with Family & Children’s Agency in Norwalk and Family Centers in Stamford to replicate the MTB model to serve young families through these agencies.

Announcing the 2017-2018 Tow Playwrights in Residence

NEW CANAAN, CT -- The Tow Foundation announces their 2017-2018 Tow Playwrights-in-Residence at seven New York nonprofit theater companies. Each theater has been awarded a $75,000 grant to support their selected playwright. This is the third cohort selected for The Tow Foundation’s Playwright Residency Program.
