BRISTOL, CT -- On December 9, 2019, Main Street Community Foundation presented a total of $6,500 in grants from the Men & Boys’ Fund to organizations improving the lives of men and boys in Bristol, Burlington, Plainville, Plymouth, Southington and Wolcott.
HARTFORD, CT -- The philanthropic arm of Hartford health insurer Aetna on Thursday announced it will donate $500,000 to the Boys & Girls Club (BGHH) of Hartford to promote healthy living. Funding from the Aetna Foundation, an independent charitable affiliate of Rhode Island-based CVS Health Corp., will be awarded to BGHH over the next five years to ramp-up programs aimed at preventing underage substance abuse of alcohol, tobacco and vaping products and improving the overall health of youth.
