HAMDEN, CT -- On Thursday, May 4 the William Caspar Graustein Memorial Fund hosted a forum on “Philanthropy, Literacy, and Youth Development,” at its offices in Hamden. Sponsored by the NewAlliance Foundation and the Literacy Coalition of Greater New Haven, the event featured a panel of the following speakers from the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven, Perrin Family Foundation, and All Our Kin. Josiah Brown, a volunteer member of the board of the Literacy Coalition of Greater New Haven, sent an account of the event to the New Haven Independent.

NEW HAVEN, CT – More than 100 questions about feeling happy and satisfied have been answered by nearly 17,000 representative residents as part of the 2015 DataHaven Community Wellbeing Survey, a program that for the first time has created a detailed portrait of social and economic conditions in all towns throughout Connecticut and adjacent sections of New York State.

Kim, a resident of New Canaan, was honored for her demonstrated, sustained and exemplary service to one or more organizations and the philanthropic sector in the state.
