Our History
In 1969, the Connecticut Council for Philanthropy (CCP) was founded in Hartford with just 7 members as the Coordinating Council for Foundations. Today CCP is the state’s association of grantmakers committed to promoting and supporting effective philanthropy for the public good. The Foundation Administrator Network is for foundation operations and administrative staff and executive assistants of member organizations
Aging
Peer Networks
Peer Networks offer Council members the opportunity to come together with funding colleagues at like organizations or with similar jobs to share best practices, information about grantmaking priorities, and current challenges and solutions.
Regional Networks
Representatives of member organizations who live or fund in identified areas of the state meet to discuss issues specific to their region. These groups are led by chairs and vice chairs from the membership.
