HARTFORD, CT -- Hartford Public Library has received a grant in the amount of $20,000 from the Nutmeg Foundation to fund a new Online High School Diploma pilot project. The pilot will provide online high school classes to a cohort of ten Hartford students as a more flexible and accessible alternative to the traditional GED test.

NEW BRITIAN, CT – Thanks to a collaboration of four local philanthropic organizations, low-income preschool children at HRA of New Britain’s Head Start programs are getting a better chance to enter kindergarten ready to succeed.
