Report on the Status of Women and Girls in Eastern Connecticut

The Community Foundation of Eastern Connecticut, in conjunction with researchers at DataHaven, has developed their first “Report on the Status of Women and Girls in Eastern Connecticut.” The report examines the conditions affecting women and girls in 5 key areas: economic security, education, workforce development, wellness and wellbeing, and disparities in leadership opportunities. The report was developed to catalyze actions ranging from household conversations to group discussions to gatherings that address how we all can support equity for our women and girls and advocate for equality through our attitudes, actions, and philanthropy.
