HARTFORD, CT -- Thanks to Goya Foods, Inc. and its Goya Gives campaign, displaced families served by Hartford's the Centro de Ayuda Para Nuestros Amigos Caribeños (Relief Center for our Caribbean Friends) had a reason to celebrate the new year. The Capitol Region Education Council (CREC) manages the relief center, which opened on November 1. The Latino Endowment Fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving was instrumental in securing the
generous donation from Goya Foods.
