PROSPECT, CT -- The second annual Hartford Bishops’ Foundation Gala at the Aria in Prospect on Nov. 18 raised more than $1.7 million to support Catholic education and faith formation for people of all ages in the Archdiocese of Hartford. (August 3, 2017) — United Way of Western Connecticut (UWWC) is proud to announce that volunteers in the SAVE (Seniors Add Valuable Experience) Program have completed 7,019 hours in the last year, service that is valued at $205,586 to the city of Danbury. This year, 47 seniors volunteered at 23 City of Danbury departments and nonprofit agencies located in the city.
