NEW BRITAIN, CT -- The Liberty Bank Foundation is partnering with the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain in a program designed to build the capacity of nonprofits. A $3,500 grant from Liberty will underwrite access to the Foundation Center database, an online resource that provides information on thousands of grantmakers. The database is just one of the resources offered by the Community Foundation’s Capacity Building Initiative, which was started in 2018.
HARTFORD, CT -- The Hartford Foundation has awarded a $175,000 grant to the Hartford Land Bank to conduct a property survey and market analysis that will collect the data needed to develop a blight remediation strategy.
