DANBURY, Conn. (August 3, 2017) — United Way of Western Connecticut (UWWC) is proud to announce that volunteers in the SAVE (Seniors Add Valuable Experience) Program have completed 7,019 hours in the last year, service that is valued at $205,586 to the city of Danbury. This year, 47 seniors volunteered at 23 City of Danbury departments and nonprofit agencies located in the city.
MIDDLETOWN, CT -- The Rockfall Foundation has recently begun a multiyear renovation effort to preserve its 1790s deKoven House headquarters and potentially open up even more available office space for environmentally-focused nonprofit organizations.
