MIDDLETOWN, CT -- A partnership between Liberty Bank and 33 local Rotary Clubs raised $209,489 to benefit struggling families in Connecticut over the Thanksgiving holiday. Five Rotary Clubs in the New Haven area accounted for more than $33,000 of that total, according to a release. Rotary Clubs in 35 towns teamed up with the 49 Liberty Bank offices to raise $167,620 during the weeks after Columbus Day.
