The Aging Mastery Program® (AMP) was developed by the National Council on Aging, coordinated in Connecticut by Connecticut Community Care and sponsored in part by the Connecticut Community Foundation.

DANBURY, Conn. (August 3, 2017) — United Way of Western Connecticut (UWWC) is proud to announce that volunteers in the SAVE (Seniors Add Valuable Experience) Program have completed 7,019 hours in the last year, service that is valued at $205,586 to the city of Danbury. This year, 47 seniors volunteered at 23 City of Danbury departments and nonprofit agencies located in the city.
